| The Holley Replacement Parts Division was formed in 1979. The significant development of this division meant that emphasis would be put on development, promotion and sales for the replacement and performance aftermarket. New, high quality product lines were brought in as well as replacement and performance carburetors. Holley became the performance leader of the world. That role has never been surrendered. In the early part of the 80s, a new plant opened in Springfield, TN. In 1994 the original equipment division was sold to Borg-Warner. This created a great opportunity for Holley Replacement Parts to move divisional headquarters to Bowling Green, KY, where their manufacturing and distribution facilities were already in place. There, the company name was changed to Holley Performance Products. In 1998 their management team bought Holley from Coltec Industries Inc, to become a larger, more aggressive company. Immediately after the purchase, Holley set out to enforce its role as the heart and soul of performance. Several strategically important company buy-outs occurred shortly after. Today, the Holley Performance Product brand names include: Holley® carburetors, fuel injection, fuel pumps and regulators, intake manifolds, superchargers, cylinder heads, cold air intake systems, air cleaners and valve covers and many others. |
