Installation of any V-Tech cover you choose takes seconds with the help of 3M OEM tape or 3M Dual Lock. V-Tech’s superior quality is unmatched by all other taillight cover manufacturers. Their parts are vacuum formed and not injection molded. This vacuum forming results in the best possible fit. By forming a solid sheet of plastic over a mold we are able to maintain a smooth, paintable surface. The unique vacuum process also enables the use of thinner plastic, which makes a smooth rolled edge for the snuggest fit. Every V-Tech part installs with the use of 3M's best tape. Once the surface is scuffed with a scotch brite pad or 600 grain sand paper, the V-Tech parts paint very easily. These parts don’t need a flex additive because of the rigidity of the plastic and stiffness of the surface that it’s applied to. |
