| WAAG has had over 50 years of experience in manufacturing fine custom brass and iron bedroom furniture. Then, thankfully, WAAG started making off-road products in 1993. Although the two have little in common, WAAG's knowledge of design, refined metal-working skills and awareness of detail made the transition to off-road products an easy one. WAAG has earned national distinction converting boxy, makeshift grille guards into attractive accessories that reflect the refined styling of today's trucks and SUVs. The company's evolutionary approach has resulted in various innovations of off-road gear that remain superior in the auto industry.
WAAG’s premier contoured styling emphasizes the distinguishing lines of the vehicle. WAAG was also the original company to combine welds, miter tubing and use strong, resilient gaskets to abolish rust. Throughout it all, WAAG always maintained that every grille guard should be easy to install and require no cutting or drilling. No one else can claim that. WAAG had to work twice as hard to make ground-breaking bracketry that uses existing factory holes to save time for the installer and promise a perfect fit every time. WAAG even used an item as basic as a side tube and made the first "Wheel-To-Wheel" side tube that was totally frame mounted and reached to the rear wheel with a rear step to permit easy access to the truck bed or tool box.
